As if floating

A cube-shaped structure on slender foundations almost seems to float, supported by its protruding slats. Moreover, ideas emerging at the architectural planning stage were brought to fruition thanks to MGLASS and the use of SOLID TWIST.

Sun protection at all times was ensured by permanently installing horizontal slats in the upper floors, projecting to the outside and an all-new aluminium profile was designed and produced for this purpose. The individual elements were built on top of each other using a round-rod construction approach, which meant they rested on each other and supported each other’s weight.

A total of 950 m2 of such aluminium slats were attached to the building.
